Authors Notes: I apologize for the incredibly long delay between chapters. I have been incredibly ill but I'm hoping to resume regular posting. I'm going to try for once a week but because my health is so unpredictable I can't make a scheduled day, I can just do my best. As always, I'm trying to keep the story realistic but I have no experience in real police procedure so it won't be accurate. Sorry this chapter is a bit dry. There was no real way to move the story forward without it as it is an important part, however it's probably the most boring in terms of entertaining reading. The chapter titles are all song names. This chapter title is taken from Breath After Breath by Duran Duran.
