Jared Padalecki - Digital Painting

I posted this to Deviantart a while back and though maybe I should post it here as well. I painted this late last year and it's become my favourite art piece. It's based on a a photo that you've probably all seen by now, and it's definitely one of my favourite photos of Jared of all time. All of the digital paintings I have done have been of him, so I guess you can say he is my art muse.

Wow, this is simply gorgeous.

The folds of his shirt, the creases in his jeans, his stunning eyes, the wisps of hair peeking out from the bottom of his beanie (which I really dislike him wearing-- why cover up such a beautiful asset) are all wonderful done.

Thanks so much! For me, eyes are really tricky so I'm glad they look okay. I have a thing for guys in beanies, I think they're so damn sexy, which makes no sense really because it covers his gorgeous hair. The photo I worked off was such high quality, it made the small details like folds a lot easier.
