You got it in one. She is EXTREMELY jealous hence the heinous behaviour. Her little machinations to have Jensen take her back had a little spanner thrown into the works. However, don't forget there is also someone else behind this making her think things are a lot different than they actually are. Not that I'm excusing her, she's horrible. You'll learn in the chapter after next exactly why Jared is so sensitive and, fair warning, it's going to be awful and painful to read.
